Daniel was a good young man who because of the wisdom that God had given him was an advisor to kings, but remained faithful to God in hard times. Through much trickery & jealousy, those who didn't like Daniel convinced the king sign a decree that would eventually put Daniel into a den with hungry lions. With all eyes on Daniel including the king, was expecting Daniel to be eaten by the lions. But, everyone also knew that Daniel was a man of God & a man of faith & because of his faithfulness to God, Daniel's prayers were answered. Because Daniel did not act in fear or anger, but acted in faith with his prayers, so God caused for the mouths of the lions to be shut, & Daniel walked away unharmed. Only then the people saw that Daniel continued to be faithful in the toughest of times. This is what we are trying to teach our childrens ministry is be faithful to God & He alone will deliver us from our enemies. With the help of God we will see more Daniels being raised up in this world.
